    I recall one year you stopped by for, like, 30 minutes.  Better than not dropping by at all.....

    What irks me is people that commit to showing up and don't show, as a repetitive pattern.  Not talking about anyone on this forum (except maybe Scottie ;) ) but just a planning and courtesy thing.  RSVP is a logistics courtesy to the host, show up or not.

    I was back at my future BILs this weekend. I told him since he is technically an egghead now, that he should come with me to NC in a few weeks. I proceeded to tell him about it, etc.. SWMBO told him that it was called Butt Blast and he immediately looked at me with a straight face and said "So, you a bottom or a top?"

    I told him that he could be the little spoon. He passed and I think he is honestly concerned now.

    It’s possible we need to make “Butt Blast” the insider name and tell everyone else it’s called “The NC Gathering of Friends and Family for Barbecue: A Family Friendly Event!”

    If it's any consolation, I'm bringing shrimp and oysters, not crawfish...that's not to say shrimp heads and oyster shells smell any better.

    My point is we'll mix it up.
