Just got home from our SoCal trip.  Wife ordered me a shirt before we left.
    Think it will work?

Depends - what kind of haircut do you have?

I spot a couple wiggle butts.
Yepp, there's a third wiggle butt out of the picture. Hoping for a dropped treat or two. Jazz the little Black one just finished a rousing game of fetch the tennis ball.

Planning how I'm going to tackle burying my downspouts.  Liking the idea of using the "pop-up" emitters.

If you can daylight the pipes all the better, pop up can get plugged with debris or the cap can wash away. If you do daylight in a yard that you mow run the last leg with pvc so the pipe doesn’t get crushed by mower

  • @saluki2007 I installed the Pop Ups a few years ago and they have been a little bit of a hot mess.

Many times it rains too hard they pop off and float away and end up getting mowed over.

Does the whole top pop off or just the pop-up part?  I don't have any trees over hanging the house so don't have to worry about leafs or anything like that clogging them up.

The center is the only thing that should pop up but if you get a huge rain it will blow the whole cap off especially if you have more than one gutter per cap.
Or sometimes the popup gets stuck shut and the same thing happens.
A healthy lawn will start to grow over it and plug it.
If you do go that route dig a hole under the popup, back fill with gravel and drill a small hole in the bottom of the popup so it does not sit with water in it.

At the airport.  Headed up to DC for the DOE ASCAC meeting.  I thought I was cool (not really), but then I ran into my colleague from Math who is heading up to DC for this:

    Pretty cool.

In other words, Mattingly says, the General Assembly could not have drawn a map that turned the close statewide vote totals into more lopsided results if they tried.

Watching David Gilmour at Royal Albert Hall, with Floyd's keyboardist Richard Wright (RIP) and Bowie just did a guest vocal.  It's on MTV Live; would like to have this on a 5.1 Surround Bluray.   B)
