*** Super Bowl Throwdown Thread Voting and Showoff ***

Post your cook here and vote here as well.  The post with the most votes (aka likes) wins a care package of my choosing!

Just as a reminder, the rules are as follows:

1. I would recommend some sort of regional tie in to teams or event.  This isn't a requirement, but some voters may vote for you based on that.
2. The main part of the meal is cooked on an Egg or kamado grill.  The whole cook doesn't have to be done on a kamado.
3. Democrat voting rules.  No limit on how often you can vote.  You can "like" multiple entries.
4. Entry with the most "likes" wins.
5. Voting ends at noon on Friday Feb 8th.
6. Winner gets a gift box from me shortly after the voting ends.
7. Above all, have fun, and embrace the spirit of this Egghead community event.

I will cook my pot of gruel on the egg.  I raked up some grass seed that didn't take the other day, maybe I can spin that as "wild rice".

    My Cook(s)

First on Friday I made Salsa

Yesterday for the actual Super Bowl-
Top L- Boudin, Chicken Thighs, Ribs

Never took final pics of the final foods- got eaten too fast.
XLBGE, LBGECharbroil Gas Grill, Weber Q200, Old Weber Kettle, Rectec RT-B380, Yeti 65, Yeti Hopper 20, RTIC 20, RTIC 20 Soft Side - Too many drinkware vessels to mention.

Not quite in Austin, TX City Limits
Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting.  The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president.

Wanted to give it a mid week bump.  Get your votes in.  You can vote for more than one entry.

Final day bump.  Remember to give a "like" to your winner.  You can "like" multiple entries....

Voting ends at noon.  I'll check as soon after noon as my schedule allows....

Brislet success. This was fantastic. Thanks to @YukonRon for the injection mix.
So it looks like we have a WINNER!  Jim's hot beef injected brisket wins!  Nothing is better than a perfectly executed brisket, and @JRWhitee did it up right.

So, send me a PM with your address.  I have a humble gift box for you, and you get to host the next throwdown at a time of your choosing.

    Thanks everyone for participating!

  • I demand a recount for @Jeremiah. It was a slim margin and the new mobile format made the voting confusing. Leave it up to a Flordia boy to try and mess with the ballot.  =);)

    Congrats @JRWhitee
