I hope everything went well, I'm 48 years old, never had surgery but the thought scares the sh!t out of me, like cooking a brisket with cowboy charcoal on a weber. Thanks everyone, I am 16 days out from surgery, doctor says all went well. I have a neck brace for another 7 weeks and no lifting for 10 more weeks. I did have my brother help me with a cook over the holidays (flank steak), it was nice to smell like smoke again.Northern New Jersey
