I think I have a a problem

I really think I have a problem. Maybe more than one.

I was looking through past purchases on Amazon for the last two years and I discovered that I had ordered some Lodge CI that I didn't remember buying. To make matters worse it took me a few hours of looking for it before I finally found it. Seems Amazon was right. I found the CI skillet and dutch oven that I had ordered and forgotten about. It was never used and stored on the back bottom shelf in the pantry.

Is that a problem? Anyone else have this problem? Or is it just me?

  • I can relate, I drunk order things from Amazon quite frequently and have unexpected packages showing up with no idea that I ordered them. The app needs a downtime window I can program.

  • I too receive packages that I don’t remember ordering.  Don’t drink and prime.

When we get a package, I always ask my wife if I was drunk on amazon again.
  • I often suffer from the “why am I here syndrome”. I find myself in a room that I was in a hurry to get to and once there have no idea why I’m there. However, when it comes to cooking tools, like CI, or to drinking I never forget anything, SWMBO says my priorities are all screwed up.

  • As said “Don’t Drink and Prime” it can only go bad! You will have some nice stuff but......

I'm just damn glad you can't buy a new car with "One Click".  :o

I've purchased two CD copies of a Weather Report CD, and also have three copies of Steve Miller's Greatest Hits (I don't even like SM that much) but otherwise haven't done too much damage in the late hours.

Yet, for some reason, I still get all kinds of ads in the sidebars, on most of my preferred forums, for aquarium pumps!!  I don't even have an aquarium!!

I have a huge problem with buying things and never using them.  Once they are stored out of sight, I forget about them.  Took me 9 years to get around to using the Smoking Gun I purchased back in 2009.
