What what I dislike about a “peace out” thread is it’s purpose. Why not just leave instead of posting “peace out”? Perhaps he’s enjoying reading “eulogies” and laments from others? I don’t know. I’ve never met the man. Always seemed like a nice guy here.Flint, Michigan

Blake, I hope you'll rejoin us at some point.
Amidst all the nonsense, there seems to be a positive trend in kindness and cooking threads.

I don't know Blake but from his posts he seems like a knowledgeable guy with a great sense of humor. As a newbie here I can only make observations based on my brief experiences. As a matter of fact most of the folks here fit the above description. I have had some gut wrenching laughs at the wit and banter here. I have also learned an incredible amount in a very short time because of you guys. You all have way more in common than differences and when together have some great times. The political stuff will always be a divisive topic. People form their opinions based on their perception of their own experiences. Who am I to judge how they feel. I am numb to it now and don't let it bother me. The off topic threads are entertaining and or informative. Sometimes not so much, but it's my choice to read or not. As for Blake, sometimes it's good to unplug and take a break and I commend him for knowing that. I suspect after a time based on the sentiment his departure has caused, he may rejoin the disco.

Didn't Blake post a cryptic message and leave for a short time a couple years back? Blake has already been on the forum this AM.

I think the political banter might run on for a day or two - likely to be some disappointed folks needing to vent.NorthPilot06 said:It is Election Day...perhaps the banter regarding politics will settle tomorrow and Blake will return
