    I've been involved in conversations here at the University around this very subject.  It may seem like paying them is such a simple solution, but it is anything but.  I'd be happy to discuss it with you more, but you've already declared that you're not interested in college basketball.

Athletes are already being treated fairly. I know they work hard and the demands are great, but it should be when their scholarships alone are often worth $50,000 per year.

    When SEC strength coaches are paid $750k/ year, you think $400-500 month is being treated fairly.  Let’s get real about the actual education these kids are getting while playing high level college sports. That’s the real sham. With good grades, you can go to college tuition free in most areas and aren’t “owned” by the athletics dept.

    There’s so much money in football and basketball that money is easily available to pay the women’s lacrosse team, swim teams etc.
