Reminds me of my late grandfather's method of hunting polar bears during the cold Alaskan winters. He would drill a bunch of holes in the ice to weaken the area and then catch a few fish using peas for bait. Then he would leave the area with fish and peas scattered around. When a bear would come to take a pea, he would kick them in the ice hole!fishlessman said:bucket trap for the chipmunks. spread the seeds across the water, add a small board in the bucket and cover that with seeds as well

While I eschew the term "master plan", I do appreciate the sentiment.JohnEggGio said:

I’m with Ron, .177 pellet gun. I use a Gamo, one **** of the barrel. I have a small platform attached to a cedar tree that sometimes gets a mix of peanut butter and birdseed on it. No idea how many I’ve dispatched, always satisfying.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

I have a similar problem and have been told to try spreading my used coffee grounds mixed with Cayenne pepper around the plants..I am just waiting for the rain to hold up, then going to try..Greensboro North Carolina

Would it work better if the bucket was a Yeti?

I keep a six foot black snake in my main barn. Keeps the mice and rats out of the feed. Boxers deal with the squirrels. My dad used to have a lot of fun with the Droll Yankee squirrel flipper.alaskanassasin said:I had a customer with a snake skin hanging in is attic vent, he apparently put it there to keep squirrels out. Not nearly as much fun as the squirrel catapult though!

He also built these elaborate wire fences around his feeders with a remote for zapping them.Xl bge ,LG bge, two 4' crusher cone fire pits. Weber Genisis gasser and

I’m not sure of the model, shadow something maybe. Any of the Gamo air guns would do, I think I picked mine up as a return in the Cabelas bargain cave maybe 8 years ago. I think most of them are 800-1200 fps.1voyager said:

Nope. No louder that a pellet gun. Most have little to no powder - just primer - yet pack a harder punch with the .22 round. We use them to keep squirrels off the suet feeders at my parents house - shooting out the kitchen window.baychilla said:
