Sometimes critter warfare requires a Scorched Earth approach.  Cut down all trees, slash and burn your garden and drop 2, 4D over the entire neighborhood. If that doesn't work, considering getting a cat.

I've got the CZ 455 American in .17. Makes my Ruger 10/22 feel super cheap.

I might totally pu$$y out and try diverting their attention away from my maters by putting a bird (squirrel) feeder out near the edge of the woods.  50# of feed might get me through the summer.

I aplogize in advance for the unmanly thoughts...

@RRP, yep. that's a Westie, i knew you loved westies but didn't know you had one.

Mac and Duffy (RP McMurphy and Billy Duffy of the Cult) are too much fun. We had two before and after the 2nd one died we found these two bros as pups. They are very entertaining. They love the pool, and stand guard with vigilance protecting us from the garbage truck, monsoon storms, airplanes high overhead and other evil forces that only they know.

Let's see, you like Diesel Benzes and Westies,  are you sure we aren't related?  i did grow up in Wisconsin....

LOL - could be brothers by different mothers! Corky is our 5th Westie. Over the years we always got our 2nd one when the first got to 10 years old. That made house breaking the pup so easy! Each of our little guys never made it much past 12 years of age. Unfortunately we lost Dublin at age 10 so we had to house break Corky by ourselves.
I hear you about the vigilance aspect! I say our guys have been our all purposes tried and true security system for years!

Did you name "Corky" after the lead character in "Life Goes On"?

No - in fact I didn't even know what "Life Goes On" was until I just Googled it.

We were still figuring out a name after we got him. While laughing at his antics in the yard I said "what a corker" and Corky just fit him to a T.

    Too funny-

our dogs are bros -the only two in a litter named after the MacDuff character in a children's book.  So, RP MacMurphy is Jack Nicholson's character in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Billy Duffy is the lead guitarist for the most underrated band in history.

I wanted to name them Eddie and Alex Van Halen.....
