Why add OT to the title if you are posting it in the Off Topic forum? Asking for a friend. ;)

Why didn't you put OT in your title?

I put it there as a courtesy to others who may not have any interest in off topic posts and it makes it easier to stand out as an off topic post. Courtesy to others...dang what's wrong with me?

As others have said , most of the time we are in "All Forums View" so as a courtesy, in sase they do not see the the little "Off Topic" to the right.

Maybe it would be a good idea to note a discussion about actually cooking on an egg with a ***NOT                  NOT***

I'm a belt and suspenders kind of guy so I always add OT (at least once) to the title when also posting in the "Off Topic" section.

Why did you put "Off Topic" in your title bar when the post is clearly in the Off Topic section of the forum?

Because very few people read the fine print.
