Started w. a cheap Oster. Not quite powerful enough for thick stuff. Got a Waring commercial, 2-speeds. Can puree beans into dip in seconds.

Considering the available cordless tools available, there should be no reason that a good immersion blender could not be battery. Maybe the wrong people are making them. Does Milwaukee have one?Lawrenceville, GA

Forget what brand I have, works great easy to clean, corded but it is TO F-Ing Safe- literally you have to push the "Safety" button on top with one hand while you hold the trigger with the other..........Visalia, Ca @lkapigian
