Monster egghead blowout sale (Houston)

We have gone from house (with our LBGE), to midrise (with a MiniMax used under cover of darkness, and LBGE hosted at my father's house), to house (with LBGE, MM, dishwasher, as well as a full scale butchering operation in our garage).... and now back to a high rise.

I suspect I will get another egg when we (undoubtedly) get a place with a yard, but for now I am having a monster blow out sale.  Please PM me if you are interested in anything.  I would prefer to only ship the small stuff.

  • LBGE - vintage 2008, pretty beat down, but has an AR/spider, 2 pizza stones and a Smokeware cap - $500
  • MM - vintage 2016, near new condition, stored indoors, includes spider/stone/etc. - $400
  • Flame Boss 300 (wifi) - with BGE fan - $200
  • Flame Boss 200 - with generic fan and missing meat probe - $100
  • A Maz N smoker (w pellets) - Free
  • True TUC 60F freezer - 60" wide double door reach in - works like a champ - $750 (paid $1000 used)
  • Globe G10 1/3 hp slicer - like new and is a beast - $600 (paid $800 new, though they typically sell for $1000
  • Sous Vide Supreme - 3 years old, has cooked a ton of beef cheeks - $200 (> $400 new)
All will be available after 7/28 (I am going to cook a bunch of stuff that day).

Sorry that you’re having to sell. I’m sure that you’re sick of moving too.

I am, but we will be in the middle of everything where we are moving.  Also, we have buddies with cookers, and I assume they will take my free labor whenever I have the itch.

Buddy, you are going to save a fortune with this move. But I know you and many other local Eggheads are going to miss your Butcher Shop/Meat Packing Garage.
    Thank you,

I don’t think I’ll stop doing stupid stuff.  I’ll just be doing it in someone elses garage.

Although it saddens me to see a dude parting with his cooking gear, I get the desire to jettison stuff that may not be feasible to use for a while. I just know that I’m not capable of being that practical.

To to put things in perspective, I was looking for mason jars in my collection of random sized bottles. Found this one. Saved because I liked that it was relatively straight-sided, without prominent “shoulders”.

Will probably never  find a use for it. Or throw it away.

Probably not worth paying to ship it (though I will if  you pay for it).  Any chance you will be in Houston or Austin in the next several weeks?

I should be down that way in the next several weeks. It'll give us a excuse to drink some beer and maybe get something to eat somewhere. @nolaegghead gots them jokes!

I really want that Globe G10 slicer. I am picturing Kramer in the Seinfeld episode when he gets a slicer. Wonder if I can talk my brother into picking it up for me.

It is for sale. Someone else is looking at it Monday, but you can be next in line.
