They are trying to charge me $9367.92 for this. Are their prices in line?
I need to know before I go ahead and pay them...

Looks good to me, I think that’s a fair price.
What is it??LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI.

If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard... -

Those things are now vintage and worth a lot. Sadly I just sold mine at a yard sale for $25.jdkeithbge said:Seems like a lot for a 6-disc CD changer."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Which is why I asked about specs. The CPUs and amount of RAM are a large portion of server price. But alas, @ColtsFan is just a tease...jazimmerman said:Walmart has them for a lot less... think you’re getting screwed..

Man, you guys are uptight for a Friday. I was just trying to troll.
As requested:
2-xeon gold 6132
64 GB RAM
1 TB SATA spiny's (I think 5)
1 super fancy lcd bezel.
Redundant power
Bonded NICs
IDRAC 9 enterprise
Shew... I think that's all while in my bourbon blurred mind.
I'm really just getting it ready to deploy. We sell these. And install. And support. And everything else related.
This is why I drink

Price sounds about right. I'd rather have less storage and more RAM myself.ColtsFan said:@DMW @jazimmerman

At one point in my life I bought a Pioneer 100-disc changer. It was a piece of crap. Would constantly jam and/or break CDs. But a part of me thought I was real cool with it. Like how do you even remember what CD you have in the #64 slot? You make a spreadsheet, that's how.JohnInCarolina said:

i just gave a 400 cd changer away that I got free (but broken). Fix was a rubber band. Never used it, trying to reduce clutter.______________________________________________I love lamp..

I had a radio that could pick up The Grand Ol' Opry. Thought I was in high cotton until reading this.jdkeithbge said:

Just this week I lugged a bin full of CD’s out of the basement and started burning them to my computer so I can listen to them again. Probably 75% of them won’t get burned or ever listened to again. Didn’t realize how much Springsteen, Petty, Pink Floyd and Stevie Ray Vaughn I had collected over the years.XL Central Ohio
