Better to be lucky than good any day. Great score. When in Texas...
Enjoy the cook and follow-on eats!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

At $1.77/lb, I would possibly consider a revisit.
Actually, hell naw, I'm good...with IA/IL hogs.
We have some great beef as well, but pork is king.
Y'all can smoke up all the briskets your hearts desire down there. We're good livin' high on the hog.

That’s ok. I don’t each cheap brisket. If it’s not at least $11 per lb I don’t trust it...Mt Elgin Ontario - just a Large.

Really like this Thermoworks Wi Fi unit.
My XL was dialed in temp wise but I wanted to run out and grab a couple beers with my brother. Just stuck in 1 probe on the way to my car and off to the bar.

So, the Ho-Hos, direct or indirect, low and slow or was it a turbo cook? What was the IT when you pulled em? Did they probe like buttah? What no photos? You know what these guys say, if there aren’t any photos, it never happened....
Did I get ‘em all?

Darian, no need to feel sorry... not for this yank anyway. If I found brisket for half that price, I STILL wouldn't buy it. Not a HoHo fan either... but Suzy Qs are a different matter!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I’m a fan of the mad max turkey rub. Delish!!!!Photo Egg said:Turkey ready to go on if brisket ever finishes.

It is a great rub. Probably not the best profile to add the the pre seasoned Cajun bird, but I liked it. It was a freezer pulled sale bird from last Thanksgiving.pgprescott said:
