Your killing me smalls............... What about the finished brisket pics? Turkey looks wonderful!
Thanks, Damn brisket really cooked slow except for a jump right at the end.
I had 2 probes in it both read constant with each other. Temps crawled up to 187-188 then then jumped 10 degrees in what seemed a very short time.
End of flat was a little dry but the point was amazing and seemed very large for the total weight of the brisket.
But the freezer dive Turkey was better than the brisket.lol
    Thank you,
    Darian

Looks like at least here in Texas Kroger has Choice Whole Packer Briskets for $1.67 a pound this week. I've been using them with really good results. Its hard to pass on that deal. But I may end up going to Costco for Prime. Either Way. as @lousubcap says, This Monday is Memorial Day and National Brisket Day so I will be cooking one this weekend.

Thinking about grabbing another one just to grind and make burgers.

Not by choice, but a buddy wants to smoke a packer Saturday.  Should be a fun day by the pool, campfire, with the kiddos, hopping in the golf cart to cruise back to the WSM to check on things, sippin' on some good suds.

Looking more forward to the quesadillas with it Sunday on the Blackstone.

    Enjoy the weekend Darian.  :)

Sounds like you have a great weekend coming up Brandon...Family fun photos to come I hope.
I have used the leftovers for breakfast tacos here at work and I think I'm going to try and make enchiladas with the rest this weekend.
    Be safe!

@Photo Egg - great results right there.  Way to bring them both home.  Nailed the brisket for sure.  Congrats.

Thank you, not nailed but not failed.lol
Lets call it stapled at best. But even an OK brisket is great used in other things.

Does sound like an amazing weekend with the family - speaking of brisket leftovers, one of my favorite breakfast spots down here is an Argentinian bakery that makes brisket-jalapeno empanadas...I've been itching to try my hand at them, but I've just not be ambitious enough --- yet :)

@Focker - this Saturday adventure may be enough to bring you over to the dark side.  Be careful out there with that hunk of cow.  ;)

    Thanks Darian.
A solid plan with enchiladas.  Mexican is the best thing for brisket, as it needs help.  ;)

Wow, that use of leftover brisket would be wonderful, no doubt.

If you try them, please post your efforts.
