So fellow Eggers, we do cedar plank Salmon with a Basil Hayden bourbon glaze just about every week. Should I go seek consulting or is this normal behavior...

You’ll need to do a little more involving small farm animals to wander into deviant territory with this group.
Salmon looks great. It’s always a winner on the Egg!"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike -
only problem is that Basil Hayden isn't in a glass!

Care to share that glaze recipe?? Looks awesome

Looks great! Wonder what whiskey would pair well with that dish? Why not?

Not crazy.......we've been on a once a week salmon kick for a couple months now. My wife got food poisoning from it when we first started dating and refused to eat it for 20+ years until recently. Boy I've missed it.
Do yourself a favor and order a jug of Lane's BBQ Kapalua rub for it.....you won't be disappointed!!

#1 would be whole beef tenderloin. But salmon (good wild caught) is a very close second.Fish, Hunt, Cook....anything else?

Not to go all Descartes on you, but, you have taken a step towards self realization.
Very important. However could it be the Basil Hayden, not the salmon? Is the doughnut fascinating or the hole?

Still waiting on the bourbon glaze recipe
Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

@bucky925 @slovelad @ksmyrl @pgprescott Sorry for the long lapse, been traveling too much recently. Per the glaze recipe, BH in a pan, heat and boil off some alcohol. Stir in some brown sugar and honey and heat on low for a few minutes until it starts to thicken. Pour over salmon and enjoy...

And it turned out great. Thanks
