has anyone built something for the back of a truck that you can set your green egg in and cook while you drive?

I'm not sure that's possible. You're going to have some major temp fluctuation I'd imagine with all the airflow

I just throw my steaks on the intake manifold.

Someone posted a komado carrier that allows one person to easily load komado in truck bed. Komado suspended in a cage like contraption. If you wanted to cook while transporting, this may work.PressuresOn said:has anyone built something for the back of a truck that you can set your green egg in and cook while you drive?

I don't know if you are serious, but for thing that take a long time to cook (brisket, butts, etc) you can use the FTC (wrap in Foil, Towels, stuff in a Cooler) to keep things nice and hot for 4-5 hours easy. Throw that in the back of the truck and you are good to go. The food will be hot enough so that it is safe and tasty, but not hot enough to set anything on fire or cause explosions.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
This past season (Go Canes!) before the Notre Dame game I saw a pickup towing a lit offset smoker.. We were waiting for the stadium gates to open and I start smelling some smokey awesomeness. I look over and see this. Dude was cooking all sorts of chicken and pork in there.
