mortgage gets sold to another lender and disappears off the report showing i owe 120k less. credit score drops 30 points. next month the loan reappears under the new lender on credit karma, credit score drops 5 more points =) is this the new math i keep hearing about

    Wonky math! That sucks. My credit seems to go up and down 10-20 points every few months, and I have absolutely no idea why.

    The only times I've ever cared was when I applied for a mortgage. 

    And on the day that I went to Sears with cash to buy a new washer and dryer.  They told me that they would give me 20% off the cost if I just applied for a Sears card on the spot.  So I did.  They rejected me.  So I still paid cash for the washer and dryer - but 20% less cash - and I didn't want a Sears card anyway.

    im only watching it because its about 3000 dollars extra over 5 years if it dives much more for the truck i want to buy.  when i look at the report its also shocking that my debt is about 8 times higher than my take home and i can somehow get new loans =) and somehow i still have excellent credit
