So besides being in and out of the hospital and ICU several times in the past few weeks for her asthma, my bride managed to fall down a fall down a half flight of stairs and fracture her fibula. The high dose steroids for the asthma are screwing with her blood sugars causing occasional dizziness. In a walking boot for now, ortho appointment on Thursday.

Thanks to you both, it appears to be a small hairline fracture according to the ER Doc. Could have been much worse. Geez Mike, I hate to see anyone get the square wheel. I have had dozens of reconstructive surgeries on my left leg, rebuilt from my foot up to my knee......trust me when I tell you, I feel her pain.
Hoping for the best and I am sure she will roll through this and come out on the other side finer than frog hair split 8 ways.
