OT- Doom, Despair, and Agony On Me

So besides being in and out of the hospital and ICU several times in the past few weeks for her asthma, my bride managed to fall down a fall down a half flight of stairs and fracture her fibula. The high dose steroids for the asthma are screwing with her blood sugars causing occasional dizziness. In a walking boot for now, ortho appointment on Thursday.

Thanks to you both, it appears to be a small hairline fracture according to the ER Doc. Could have been much worse. The floor in the mudroom where she landed is concrete, thankfully no head injury.

Geez Mike, I hate to see anyone get the square wheel. I have had dozens of reconstructive surgeries on my left leg, rebuilt from my foot up to my knee......trust me when I tell you, I feel her pain.
Hoping for the best and I am sure she will roll through this and come out on the other side finer than frog hair split 8 ways.
You are a good man and a great husband. Take care of her. I know you will.
