    If you look up the historical info for age of consent laws many (mostly Southern) states used to have much lower ages.

    IIRC either Alabama or Mississippi used to allow marriage at age 12 with parental consent.

    Methinks you're confusing CURRENT age of consent laws with HISTORIC age of consent laws which is what I mentioned.

    I did mis-remember the 12 years of age. In the 1800's there were actually 33 states where the age of consent was actually 10 years old. That's right - TEN YEARS OLD.

    In Delaware, the law only applied the crime of rape to children under the age of 7.

    It wasn't until the early 1900's that 16 years more or less became the norm.

    @nolaegghead We do have low humidity in Az and leather holds up just fine in cars and home furnishings. Now if you leave your car out in the sun for a decade, it will break down On car interior, go with the product recommended by the manufacturer, preferably one sold by the dealer...more money but take care of those seats!
