New egg owner...tried brisket, ribs, picanha and a pork butt last weekend. Would probably rate in that order. What are some other must tries?

Got to do wings. Chilli when it gets cooler. Whole Turkey. Lamb if you like it. Deer. Sweet tators. Corn on the Cob. Squash all kinds. Cauliflower, Pineapple and carrots. Man find it cook it.

Strong start right there. You will find that you can cook anything you want on the BGE-just depends on the set-up needed. So, try something that was a winner on a prior cooking device and give it a go on the BGE. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
steak...hot tub method, reverse sear method, trex method. calzones, pineapple, tuna steaks, acorn squash, oyster mushrooms, asparagus with proscuitto wrap....bread, brownies, apple crisps, etc

To piggyback @lousubcap You just bought the Swiss Army Knife/ all-purpose cooker. Anything you might cook in the oven, grill, or smoke you can cook on the egg. Find recipes that sound good and then cook them on the BGE.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
