Uriah Heep - "Stealin" has to be one of the best songs out there.  First song I ever heard on a good stereo system.  Blew me away!

The Boss aka Bruce will be bringing 25 new archive recordings to begin release this Friday and continue on the first Friday of each month. Bruce will also be setting up residency in  in New York to do 5 solo shows a night over eight weeks on Broadway.

So with this info.....Here is live version of The River.....one of my favorites...and that is why I am leaving it here.

I'm about to purchase tickets to see Marcus King Band on October 12th at the Georgia Theatre in Athens.

This week back in 1972, George Harrison pulled together a mammoth list of musicians for the Concert of Bangladesh....which was held at Madison Square Garden. There were two shows that day. One of the greatest outputs of that concert was this duet with Bob Dylan. This is actually a video shot in there pre-concert rehearsal. Enjoy this anniversary of sorts.

This is one of the greatest threads ever.
Last night we got to see a very cool tribute to Chuck Berry, performed by James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt, doing Johnny B. Goode.

We saw him at Red Rocks, he opened for Tedeshi Trucks. No contest, GCJ blew them off the mountain. I downloaded everything he has recorded when we returned from CO. If you have not heard of this man, you will, and you will be blown away.

What made it even better was his opening acts were Rhiannon Giddens and Ronnie Baker Brooks.  If have not ever listened to either of them do so.

I have been away on vacation travel....and neglecting my duties. Before I go forward, I have to go backwards for a minute. My wife and I had the pleasure of accompanying Ron and Suzy (thank you so much) to see James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt last weekend. They did not disappoint. A few shots for the documentation of this great show.

The Lady can play a slide.

.....and still move around the stage....With JT.....you've got a friend.

Two great voices who have a lot of respect for each other.

    Thank you....thank you.....thank you.

Well, I was modeling the Stache while running my agility dogs.  Fortunately they could read the obstacle number and managed to keep me mostly pointed in the correct direction!!
