Went Hawaiian on the pizza tonight with pit ham from a classic local BBQ joint and a fresh pineapple. Good stuff!

No, not because it is fruit ( I put tomatoes on Pizza), because they don't grow in Italy...no, don't care about Gordon Ramsay...basically I find the thought of pineapple on pizza absolutely barfmaking. So I guess we have really changed and it is un-American to have a differing opinion now, I'm out, have a good one.

One more thought @lwrehm, you chose to express your opinion on someone's post of a pizza they made for their family and posted here. Not a 'what do you like on pizza' thread. Maybe not the friendliest way to approach commenting on someone's cook, IMO.

I always liked hawaiian pizza but didn't love it until I had one that added some jalapeno. Ham/pineapple/jalapeno is a great pizza combo.Spaightlabs said:if you you don't like pineapple on pizza you are un-American.

Pineapple on pizza threads always crack me up.
You post a picture of pineapple on a pizza it's going to attract some comments. Heck, just do a Google image search on pineapple pizza and you'll see @lwrehm isn't in the minority.
All in good fun. Nobody should get offended. It's like posting a thread titled, "I love Cowboy Lump." You're going to get some feedback. You know it when you post it. Doesn't mean you're wrong to like that lump.
@Basscat that's a good looking pie. Thanks for sharing it. Nice that we can make such a wide array of food on these things to fit every taste!
