Would you believe I didnt realize until last week that cavenders was made in arkansas?Richard Fl said:Biggreenpharmacist said:I have a few more things to grab wednesday and then I should be done.
Don't forget some Cavenders. It took 10 years to reach Florida back in the '90's. My friend Lambchop from Pine Bluff used to have her mother ship a care package until about 1990 Happy shoppingLittle Rock, AR

Done shopping. $120 later.

Purchased, packed and waiting to go out Priority Mail tomorrow morning.
This little adventure turned out to be more expensive than my wife anticipated. But it has been a lot of fun and I got to try out 2 new BBQ places and two meat markets that I hadn't shopped at before. So who cares.

Have you seen the show-off thread? This forum goes hard on this exchange. I should raise the minimum, but most already ignore it so I haven't bothered.
I'd probably guess that the average spent after shipping is around $75.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -
I deliberately did not add up all of the receipts but I had fun shopping and learned a lot of new products. Everybody needs a hobby and this is cheaper than a boat. Now waiting to see what they think of my selections.
-
The expense isn't what you send, it's the duplicates you buy for yourself of the new things you find.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER
-
Yep, one of my better selections was at half price and you can bet that I bought more than one. Then there is the regrettable culling when there's no more room in the box. Upside is that you are absolutely sure that you have some new stuff that you are going to like.Legume said:The expense isn't what you send, it's the duplicates you buy for yourself of the new things you find. -
I saw that thread @cazzy and I used it to see what my recipient got and gave last year. I didn't want to duplicate stuff he could readily get or has.cazzy said:SaintJohnsEgger said:Purchased, packed and waiting to go out Priority Mail tomorrow morning.

I spent about $85 before shipping. I'm not complaining as it was fun. I was going to skip this exchange because of finances but it was my wife who suggested I do it. So it is what it is...fun and delicious

For anyone shipping to the GWN, the shipping alone will likely double the total cost.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

That is what I did also. No worries about weight , just volume. Fingers crossed that the Samsonite Gorilla isn't working for USPS though, mostly glass bottles in the box.SaintJohnsEgger said:Went out Priority Mail this morning. 13.2 pounds. Should be there by Saturday.
