Looks like everyone had a great time. Thanks guys for posting pics for those of us that couldn't make it there this year. Hope to see more tomorrow. @YukonRon, I knew I could count on you guys to lift a few glasses for us. Hope everyone gets home safely.

Nothing like being hungover, and breaking camp in the pouring rain.
It was worth it. Can't wait for next year.

Who has slushies? Who has Titus? Who cares? I want these folks in my corner when it is time to get busy. This is my favorite BGE/Non BGE Event, strictly due to the people that participated, and those who fed us some of the best food I have ever tasted.
Here you go @MaskedMarvel.  Nice to make your acquaintance brother.
Hey thanks for the hospitality and everyone's hard work!! My job required I be in Greensboro all weekend, so I felt very humbled to crash through the shelter and have everyone so friendly and welcoming recognize my name for the short time I could be there.

Awesome getting to meet everyone and put faces with the names here. What a great community we have!!  If you're ever in Greensboro, please please let me know.

Next year I'm getting some damn bourbon slushee and gator sausage though --- can't stop thinking about that!

John I was in the campground office today and we all need to talk later this week. Seems as though no more than 8 people at a camp site is the rule. But hey offered a solution for us.
Mrs.Carroll got on to me too when I was checking in.

I'm interested in their solution. Hers was to rent a shelter.

I get it, but if the noise is okay, I don't see the issue.

    Ron,

Great capture.  Love it. That's one part of my world right there.

After she ate that she whispered in my ear and told me I trained B-Rent pretty good as he produced these. I was humbled.

Looks like an amazing time and amazing food was had by all. Sadly outages at work this year didn't let me attend, and won't let me attend brisket camp either.

My much better half and I will be attending BB in the Spring, and I will bring the Mobile Meat Monster (SF) with us.

Hopefully y'alls livers are on the mend.

My big brother! There's no one any better than him. I hate I didn't get a picture with him there nor one with my wife and little girl. I suck with getting pictures.  Weird I know.

Wow @YukonRon thanks for posting all of those photos man!  Those are great!

Tip of the hat too to Ron for making enough bourbon slushies to supply an entire field of Butt Blasters!  Those things are the best.  Come for the food, stay for the bourbon slushies!

These two folks worked, made uber delicious food for us to enjoy, put together the cool gift drawing which was a lot of fun, and never quit the whole day. Jim and Kaye, thank you for everything, and for being such good friends to us. BTW, Jim, you certainly out kicked your coverage, too. You guys are the best.
Thanks for the picture and it's just what we love to do. :)

Hey, sorry about that. I supplied false news. I think I never even got a chance at those. Kaye brought around many plates, but those, if I remember correctly, never made it to the adult beverage mixing station, where I was pouring slushies. Not her fault, just too good, and they went fast. Who knew shrimp could fly?

@Jupiter Jim can you publish Kaye's egg casserole recipe?  I'll make that for a weeks worth of breakfast for the boys.  They loved that stuff!

    Here ya go,

    KayNOcook's Easy Breakfast Casserole

2 Cups dry stove top stuffing mix

2 Cups milk, we used half /half

1 lb sausage cooked and crumbled, calls for draining but we didn't drain.

We like Neese's Sausage the best, www.neesesausage.com

    6 eggs beaten

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    1/2 tsp salt

    1/2 small diced onion

1 tsp Cayenne pepper more if ya it hot

    1-2 tsp Cumin

    Preheat oven to 350

    Lightly grease 9x12 baking dish

Mix all ingredients together pour into baking dish

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until set

We added some of the shredded cheddar on top after 30 minutes.

I am a big fan of Neese's sausage. The only kind i purchase. This was excellent by the way. I didn't realize anyone else got any. I thought I ate it all by myself.

We made tacos again last night for dinner to use the ground beef up.

Maryn tore into them. Made these with @Sea2Ski eggs. Yummy!

The picture of the event right there. If you want to know what Butt Blast is all about....this says it all.

Ron....you missed the opportunity for the "hanging with Batman and Robin" caption. Just kidding of course.....enjoyed meeting and shooting the bull with Matt's brother. Oh and we got all kinds of things that we can use later.

Some more of the folks and food:
Michael worked on these all day. I will say this. There was nothing I had that was not eggcelent....but these were absolutely off the chart. I ate more than one and I was already so full I could not eat another thing. I found room and will make these myself on day when I have, well all day.

Any chance of the recipe @DoubleEgger ?

Edit: Never mind.  I used the search function (novel idea I know) and found the thread.

Stopped in Asheville to hit Kitchen and company and to have lunch.  Back on the road around 2.  I-40 was closed for 3 1/2 hours with us on it due to tractor trailer crash.
