Wishing I had the stamina to hold out for the Pac-12 championship b'ball game tonight but need to rest up for the first Ivy League championship game Sunday.

Waiting for the footy to come on and there's a cooking programme on where they are making a healthy grain type salad. My 12 year old says 'where's the meat'. Good lad.

Started my morning with Celtic/Rangers and am now watching Tottenham/Millwall in the FA Cup. Kane left early in the first half..........
The Celtic/Rangers match was refreshing. Reminds me of EPL from days of old when they let the players play. Not a lot of stoppage, physical, passionate football. Electric environment. At points I wish the commentators could be shut off and I could watch the game with nothing but the serenading of the crowd.

The flavor of the dough is really good with the sweetness from the molasses but I am going to use the stand mixer next time to mix the dough. I mixed and folded it by hand and it's just too thick of a dough to get everything mixed properly. I am also going to cut back the temps a little I was running over 700 and that's too much with all the sugar from the molasses. Overall the pizza was good though just a couple tweaks I'm gonna make.blind99 said:@lit that pizza looks incredible. how'd the dough/crust turn out? i love MM. -

@theyolksonyou - you may see it that way and in truth it may be that way but there is no chance it will be recognized that way. So, just resign yourself to that result and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

@lousubcap I'm known for my ability to destroy a kitchen, so if she doesn't have to clean it after a whole weekend, she'll be happy. Honestly, not looking for recognition, just peace and happiness.

This may be a dough that would actually work well in the egg. If I recall, the MM ovens are in the mid to upper 500s? The arc'd flame of the BS is rough on the molasses, as you've seen.Lit said:

The last MM pie we had, it did have a couple of burnt bubbles, so they're getting good spring, and heat, on stone.
IMO, and equally important, is the garlic butter brush and grated parm treatment post bake.BrandonQuad Cities
