  • Being a die-hard Colts fan, and having utter hatred for that team in Foxborough, I cannot deny Brady of his accomplishments. He'll be one of the best to play the game. And all things considered, that coach is pretty damn good too....

    I can't believe I just said that

Pittsburgh better score TD's next week or it will be over for them this year.  The Chiefs pissed that one away last night.  No urgency to get plays in or off and some balls that should have been caught.  I usually have a Super Bowl party, but I am sick of all the teams that will be in it this year.  The only one I want to see is Atlanta,  but Green Bay is on a roll.

Haters gon hate, but Brady and Bill and the Patriots organization have maintained a level of excellence for a long ass time that is rare in ANY sport, nevermind the NFL.  I just wish they'd managed to complete that perfect season, mostly so we could all stop hearing about the otherwise unremarkable 72 Dolphins.

Preseason had the Steelers and the Patriots playing in the AFC Championship. We get to see how it's going to pan out now. Should be a heck of a game. I'm just glad Gronk is out.

You've got to be on your knees if you want to be in prime position to catch an ass and balls to the face.

Don't be hatin on my dolphins...I'm old enough to have watched the 1972 and 73 teams. Different game today, but back then they were as dominate as great team ever was. I'll give Pats their due....very successful for a long time. But the '72 fish were the real deal.

I'm sure they were a good team, I'm not disputing that.  But one of the all time greats?  Nah.

pats still won more games that year at 18-1 than the dolphins did in their "perfect season".

Obviously you can't compare teams from different eras. But they WERE one of greatest in their era. That is indisputable.
