Finished watching a fantastic documentary on Chicago (the band) on CNN. They were my first favorite band in Jr High as I was learning trombone, and my first bar band gig was in a Chicago/BS&T cover band (I wrote out the brass charts) and they've been kind've the soundtrack to my own life, all these years. The end of the doc they were discussing how they were running out of time to do more, and it hit me particularly hard.

We're finishing up getting things put away in the remodeled basement and I just pulled this little half butt off the egg. It'll hang out for a while before being cubed, sauced, and back on the egg for a couple of hours.LBGE

Cleaned out both of the Eggs earlier and reloaded with lump. Down to my last half bag of lump. Time to buy some more, starting to feel a bit uneasy.

@YEMTrey - I can understand why. You are much more adventurous with the lump low level alarm than am I. Once I move below three 20lb bags of lump it's time to reload. I rely on Firecraft and on occasion they are in the out-of-stock mode with Rockwood for a short while. Gotta cover that scenario.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Some shorties and some spares that I trimmed down. Trimmings will go into baked beans.

Wishing I could use my Egg after viewing those tasty items. Snowing too hard to cook without a covered porch!

Finally got my snow blower running, and blew 9" of "partly cloudy" off my driveway. Beautiful crisp day!

We had our family Christmas gathering yesterday since last Sunday's plans were changed. Given that, working on pork and sauerkraut a day late. Hopefully that doesn't mean a dollar short.

The cheese was a bit beery for the fam. Need to switch labels next time to something a little more subtle. Yuengling maybe. This was two hearted ale. -
Chef's bite, yum!! Fairly sure I'm in your contact list, probably as @northGAcocktheyolksonyou said:

, you could call. Looks great and +1 on the Yuengling to dial it back a bit. Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga -
That is what BGE stars cook. I like the idea of Yuengling. I always let it go flat, in the fridge first, which seems to help in dialing it back a little.theyolksonyou said:Homemade chips and beer cheese

First day at the new jobby job was wonderful.
Gals are foodies, love dogs, enjoy a good drink.
Crushed it, was 2 for 2 on IV sticks, had to fish for one a little.
They sent me home with Norwegian Struvas for my dad and boy....Great with coffee.
Gonna love this new gig.
