Scored a Tri tip today at Wegman's. Not a common cut in MA. That will go on tomorrow after the 1 pm football game. Tradition dictates today. Mai Tais at the local Chinese joint with SWMBO and friends at 4...take out pre-ordered for 6:30. Will be an early night I hope.Large Big Green Egg in a nest. North Shore of Boston.

A bit off-topic since I'm wrestling with a stick burner and wind gusts around 30 mph from about a 90* quadrant. It sure is finicky. Intermittent rain reminds me of why I wanted to take on this challenge...but all in good fun and hopefully great eats.
Enjoy the last of 2016-I will be quite happy when this one is relegated to the history book.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

Trying a new beer. Delicious. Just ate smoked pigs on the beach, and the XL is coming up to temp for some filets for the ladies and ribeyes for the men. Nothing picture worthy, but looking forward to eating. Happy New Year, all!
