OT: share thoughts on GMO food

wondering your thoughts. As I'm trying to transition to full paleo .. Can't help but wonder if there really is something to the changes in foods cellular structure ...
home grown food does taste much better.. And if much rather have venison than beef ... But 

food for thought there has been a big increase in skin / food allergies in dogs within the past few years and their food is made with the same products we purchase at the grocery store

and going back to selecting for particular genes... Dairy cows are a hands on example ..
there is a direct correlation between higher milk yield and poorer hoof structure..

Rant / random thought probably not making much since but I'm delirious with exhaustion as this thought ran through my head.
