Just fired up my slow cooker with a new scalloped potato recipe, heavy cream, garlic, thyme, nutmeg, parmesan, salt & pecker. Also used my mandoline for the first time; thanks to @Sea2Ski 's warning, I was careful, and tickled with how well it worked. Ham & asparagus to be cooked up later.

Lookin good, @theyolksonyou! Smoking up some turkey legs that I forgot were in the freezer. Got them on mega clearance a few weeks ago. Gonna eat one as is for dinner, then prolly freeze the others for future pinto bean cooks.

Mopped the turkey drums with a mixture of Sweetwater IPA, brown mustard, honey and soy sauce during the last 20 minutes. Pretty good.
