Set the system back up today. It' s been far too long. Have had the police visit the house twice due to the PW2200, and other stuff. Have a feeling there may be another. Was so giddy getting it back up and running, didn't even watch a movie, speaker ckecked with Floyd's Pulse Disc 1......Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Feels damn good to be back at "bassline".BrandonQuad Cities

Re listening to Passion and Warfare by Steve Vai. He is going on tour and playing front to back. I'm also doing a meet and greet with him and getting a Jem guitar signed.
Also meeting Zakk Wylde in a month or so and getting his classic Bullseye guitar signed.

Thanks for this post Botch. APP had kinda slipped through the cracks of my feeble old mind. Was one of my favorites back in the mid seventies. I have a few of his albums on vinyl. I'll have to get started listening to his music again. Wasn't Alan Parsons involved with Pink Floyds "Dark Side of the Moon"? Engineer maybe?Botch said:Last night I watched my new copy of The Alan Parsons Project new (and first!) video, done in Colombia. Excellent video/show! Today, after listening to some of my old collection, I realized they hadn't done my favorite APP tune, here's the (very old) video of it:

Yup; his own recordings are audiophile-quality too. I didn't realize he also sang and played guitar and keyboards, thought he was more of a Director for the band.FarmerTom said:

Yes, I did. You should see our Cures Control Playlist, all over the place. And I wouldn't want it any other way. It's good to be open minded @Legume.Legume said:

How is it? Killer? Their first 3 were smokin -
Let me preface this by saying I'm a huge CRB fan. I love everything they do.
That being said, it's a really good album. A couple of songs have a little different sound to them, and that's good. All the songs should transfer to a live setting really well.
I also can't wait for them to post the Macon show from a couple of weeks ago to their website for download. Neal Casal got to play Duane Allman's starburst guitar for most of the show. Not going to miss getting a download of that.
Going to see them a couple more times this fall and already can't wait for the shows!
