The wrath of the buffalo

I made the buffalo angry. I made a thread about a certain alarm system. I want name it for fear of further angering the buffalo, but I will just say the alarm had a reputation for being "simple" and "safe".
I have never had the buffalo trample me so I guess I should be counting my blessings. Maybe it was because my post wasn't "Egg" related, but why have an Off Topic section on the forum if we can't talk about OT stuff?????
Maybe it was because I mentioned the brand name, and the buffalo don't want their forum to be seen as promoting or disparaging a certain brand name.
I realize that BGE owns the forum and the bandwidth, BUT we are your customers. We spend our money with you. I personally have converted a half dozen or more people over and they are now BGE owners.
Why can't we talk in the OT section about other, non controversial, things? Post some rules about what wakes up the buffalo, and we will follow them.

Wrong weekend here. Last weekend the buffalo took a break and didn't surface til Monday AM (He/she was certainly fed plenty to address but let it roam). You never know, but every thread I have had torpedoed has addressed a company or product by name. So that is a solid entering buffalo trigger.
BTW- @johnkitchens - I was learning quite a bit from that thread and posts. So much for learning.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

I'm not a fan of the censorship here. I think the decision to flag any threads about the Joetisserie so that they stop rising to the top after a short while is both sad and short sighted. Decisions like this leaves me with a very negative feeling about the BGE. If the so called leaders of BGE keep this up, my loyalty to their product and their company is gone.
