Ron, a man of your money should not be eating at KFC

Ron, Come on down to Nashville, TN and find out what REAL HOT CHICKEN (and fish) is all about. I've heard, however, that it's an OK imitation of mild to mild - but... only an imitation!!!

Ron, I'm just messing with you above as usual. I actually love KFC original recipe. I will order a 20 piece of their original recipe wings and make an a$$ out of myself eating them. Throw in some mashed potatoes and biscuits and I'm smiling like a hog in slop.

I love their original recipe (broasted wings). I can put down a 20 piece in about 5 minutes. Been toying with the idea of investing in a Henny Penny broaster myself. My wife would $hit a brick if I dropped 5 grand on it though.DaveRichardson said:@SHG (hand raised) in the same boat with ya!Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

I forgot to say above that if I had Rons money I would buy two Henny Penny broasters

What happened to Norm MacDonald and the Its finger licking good campaign! I love that guy, especially his deadpan delivery on Weekend Update, you know, when SNL was still funny and not so damn political.
Norm:
Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee announced this week that they are expecting their first child. When asked what names they were considering the couple replied, if it's a girl, we'll name her after her mother and call her Pamela, If it's a boy, we will name him after his father and call him 'that lucky bastard'.

When I was on the road a lot I'd eat KFC for lunch once in awhile. Looked forward to it, loved eating it and regretted it 20 miles down the road.New Albany, Ohio

We drop in on KFC for sides. I like their slaw and everyone else like the mashed potatoes. Haven't had their chicken in a long time.Flint, Michigan

I think it is pretty good. Haven't had the original Nashville stuff so I really don't have anything to compare it to.Narcoossee, FL

Ron,
Only tried it once.
First couple bites were really good. After that it went down hill because the sauce was so oily. Flavor was good but it was just drenched/dripping oily...
Might try again and ask for light sauce or on the side.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
Don't think I've been to KFC since college. We would par-take in some "activities" and then go to town on the buffet.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

I always feel so bad for our local KFC. They are right next to chic fil a and there will be a line around chic fil a and not 1 car at KFC. Last time I tried KFC was when they came out with the grilled chicken and it was gross and I haven't been back.

Same here and lump Long John Silvers into that category as well.
I feel no reason to step foot into either stores. I will still eat fried chicken from time to time, but honestly, a lot of grocery stores have pretty darn good fried chicken any more.

I've had the Nashville Hot Chicken at the Yardhouse and thought it was very good.

Find a good recipe online, make it at home. It will be miles better than anything a fast food joint can come up with."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

I thought the "new" Nashville Hot style was way too oily. Much prefer original or xtra crispy if in the mood for quick chicken. But much prefer real FRIED chicken.

Chick Fil A's around here actually cause traffic problems because there are so many damn people in their drive thru getting food. It's a freakin' chicken sandwhich. KFC makes a mean pot pie. I've tried the hot chicken and liked the flavor but agree with others that its just too darn oily. Will make a point to get the real thing next time I'm in Nashville.

I don't think Chick Fil A is as good as it used to be. I don't know if it is due to the Pterodactyl size breast they use now, or if it's the change in cooking oil. Even the color of the chicken is not what it used to be. I do know they changed the oil.fishepa said:

I like some original KFC once in a while, my kids love it. My son wanted to try the Nashville hot so we got a 12 piece. Very disappointing, all they are doing is pouring a very greasy/oily liquid over extra crispy and adding a few pickles. The first few bits were tasty but the oil and grease was quickly unbearable. First time I ever saw KFC chicken go in the trash can around my house because nobody ate it.
-
WOW! You just confirmed others' comments about greasy/oily condition. Guess I'll pass - and not gas - from greasy that new KFC!Jlash3 said:I like some original KFC once in a while, my kids love it.
