I avoid Delta at all costs.  I had a run with them where 50% of my trips had a cancelled flight, lost luggage, missed connection or some other ridiculous event, none of which were weather driven.

Just a hard deadline for a quote.  What @SGH is laying on the ocean bed, I'm supplying the electrification equipment to process and pump it.  Not only big oil companies, the natural gas market is splitting open right now.  America is the Saudi of natural gas.  Getting tons of quotes for huge LNG companies.

Sadly for me, most of it is in the natural gas arena. Oil (more especially subsea) is declining fast. When Thunder Horse hits the sea floor, there are no more scheduled subsea main lines to be built until 2018. It's looking real grim for me. All the majors have cancelled production of farther main lines. In July, Deep Gulf Energy will lay "Odd Jobs" in the Gulf and in August we will lay "Thunder Horse". Then it's a done deal my friend.

Seeing mostly LNG stuff these days, but just completed a big quote for Exxon Friday. 

Job tonight is for cryogenic company,  Air Liquide.

As a whole they have a good deal of work. But the problem is I work in the subsea division. The subsea division is dry. There is almost no chance of me transferring to another division. 

The seas will part and with your expertise there will be work my brother.  If the Exxon thing doesn't work out, I'll tell you, I could give up my day job and we'll open up a BBQ place that Aaron would want to visit.
