My first sous vide meal - befitting for a last meal before dental surgery for SURE!

Tonight I used my new sous vide unit to cook a 1.25 pound pork loin roast to a perfect 143º that we like. After slicing it thin I poured on some warmed Blue Hog's TN Red as a finishing sauce. The other dish -  since I was limited - was an acorn squash half with maple syrup, butter and pecan pieces. Seeing that I'm having two teeth extracted tomorrow afternoon I told my beloved that this was "my last meal" meaning for some time until chewing was possible!

The meal sounds great. Best of luck with the dental work. I pray you'll have a rapid recovery.

You've got it all wrong. If you want to pretty yourself up for a girl from Yellville you just dress up as Santa Claus  ;)
