Butt Blast Website, Registration

@tarheelmatt, @piney and I have been hard at work doing some planning for the Butt Blast!  

As a reminder, the event is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, from 10-3 in Dan Nicholas Park (Shelter Number 2).  

If you're planning on attending this event, we're asking you to register for it.  Along those lines, we have set up a "website" for the event on blogger:

There you will find information about the event which we will update as we get closer to April.  There is also a link to a registration page:

The entire event  is free, and at the moment we're just trying to use this ticketing system as a means to get a reasonable head count.  This also allows us to get contact info (in the form of email addresses) for everyone coming so that we can coordinate cooking, the public shaming of Kentucky fans, and all of the other fun activities.  

So if you're planning to come to the Butt Blast (aka Burning Loin), please go ahead and register as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or email us directly at ncbb2016@gmail.com.

    Done!  I registered as a taster but given that I'm bringing oysters I might qualify as a cook. 
    Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here.  Very Extremely Stable Genius.

    You're going to want to cook the oysters on one of the Eggs, right? If so, go ahead and sign up for a chef ticket as well.

    Registered for two. I can't allow @bgebrent to face this battle alone, petting zoo notwithstanding. Hoping I can drive down and maybe bring MBW, so she can meet those that have kept me laughing since being a part of the BGErs.

    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

    Serious question here. 
    Adult beverages per the rules and regulations, seem to be verboten. I was hoping to bring some fine Kentucky vintage. MBW, loves to make huge Vats of bourbon slushies. Should we shelve the idea? If not, we need a head count of participants that may consider an adult refreshment.  And a head count of those that will swill.
    Also, if there is anything we can do to help, beginning to end, please let us know.

    The NC guys are pretty cool dudes, it will be up to us to watch over them, keep them out of trouble and away from the mutton.
