I don't see why that thread needed to die? If they're going to Buffalo a thread, at least let members know why either publically or privately.

The buffalo does not explain its actions. It simply reacts without warning and at will.Mikee said:I don't see why that thread needed to die? If they're going to Buffalo a thread, at least let members know why either publically or privately.

Comcast sucks. They did us a favor so no one needs to see that.

Wow, you knocked the buffalo down from an American Buffalo to a Water Buffalo. I wonder when this thread will be canned. And just who at the mother ship is said buffalo? Keep it up and many will leave. Surely someone at the mother ship can see this over zealous big bothering is not good for the community at whole. I fully understand keeping out images that aren't suited for minors so to speak. But to kill a thread about a company known far and wide to have exorbitant pricing and poor service is in called for. They were even posted in the off topic area. Don't know. When I first got my Egg there wasn't no stinking buffalo. Life was simpler. Nothing got too out of hand. Even on a drunken night. On other forums, when stuff starts to get out of hand the mods let their presence be known and the populace settle down. Sorta like the teacher going out the class room to make copies and we all went ape chit. But here we have an invisible mod. Floating around looking for someone to strike. Just remember Mr Buffalo, the reason we are here is because we bought a BGE or are investigating buying one. Therefore in a since, you're our employee. Piss enough of us off, and we start to call the mother ship and keep on kicking the can up the ladder till we get our satisfaction. You need us, we don't need you. Even if the buffalo is the head honcho himself, a lesson on business practice needs to be learned at the HQ.

Can't speak for internet and cable from here ... for home phone I got myself an OBI200 ATA (analogue telephone adaptor) and fired the phone company! Running my own voip home phone (keeping original number) with way more features and practically $0 a month. Initial setup investment was recouped in about four months, saving over $35 a month.canuckland

I would be inclined to buy into the brand/company names but RTIC threads get a free pass and around here the largest BGE dealer is wired to Yeti at the hip...oh well. However, I do think that calling out some companies or brands does activate the trigger finger. Too bad we are not allowed "behind the curtain". But I guess that makes late night adult beverage fueled threads so entertaining. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Such a rebel thread. Maybe Comcast is a silent partner of BGE and they had to stifle the outcry that Comcast sucks.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I did the same thing with an Ooma. A cost of about $4 shows up on my credit card every 3 months (tax), and that's it.Canugghead said:Can't speak for internet and cable from here ... for home phone I got myself an OBI200 ATA (analogue telephone adaptor) and fired the phone company!
