South MS River party this Summer

I'm wondering if we have any members that may want to come hang out on the water for a day of BBQ this summer.  I'm free any Saturday or Sunday in June. I'm also inviting the BBQ-Brethren site.  Tentatively I'm thinking the 2nd weekend, June 11/12th.

The location is BILOXI, MS.  I live on the Tchoutacabouffa River which is great to swim in or fish and is Fresh water. The water is usually still cool in the summer and we jump off the large boat house into the river all summer. Kids will be welcome and I'll get a bounce house or slide for them for the event.

There are casinos and hotels near by. I'm located less than 2 miles from I-10 (Exit 46) and less than 6 miles from the largest casinos on the coast (Beau Rivage, IP, Hard Rock, Scarlett Pearl, Golden Nugget, Harrah's and many more). So very convenient location for a vacation.

The event is located less than 100 miles from the New Orleans airport or the French Quarter! Less than 55 miles from the Mobile Airport and only 17 miles from the Gulfport/Biloxi Airport. Just off Highway 67 only 2 miles north of I-10.

Will check my calendar.  I plan to try and make it back to New Orleans again this summer.  This would be a great stop on the way.

    Wow.  That could be epic.

I'm devastated that I will probably be out of the country at that time.

Grim, if you need any help, let me know and I will do anything that I can to help. I have some very large fryers, boilers and big units. Will gladly help any way that I can. I have a big appetite to boot so food disposal will not be a problem

If needed, I have a 45 gallon (not quart) pot and a 3 million BTU burner.

Between Scotty and my cookers we could probably cook 4 cows 3 pigs 2 turkeys, and a partridge in a pear tree all at once.
