Crimson Tide or Clemson Tigers???

SGH
SGH Posts: 28,791
First, congratulations to both teams for a stellar year and looking forward to the pending showdown.
Questions.
1. Who are you pulling for?
2. Who do you think will win and by how much?
3. Will it be a close hard fight to the end or a blowout from the get go?
You thoughts?

My answers.
1. Alabama.
2. Alabama by 10 or less.
3. Hard fight to the end.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Status- Standing by.

    1. Clemson
    2. Tide by at least 2 td's
    3. It will be over by the middle of the 3rd quarter.

I hope I'm completely wrong on #2 and #3 but Bama as always is the real deal

I'm an LSU fan. I pull for the SEC. Except Bama. And Ole Piss. And Aggie. Don't care much for Florida either. Or any team that would negatively affect the outcome of LSU's season.

Both teams have worked hard to be where they are and I congratulate both of them. That being said, I'm married to Clemson alumni, so Tigers will be favored in this house. I think it will be a strong fight from kick off to the end and a nail biter. I think Tigers will win by 20. Besides, I don't want to see another video of Saban dancing. That was painful to watch, lol. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2016/1/1/10698122/nick-saban-dancing-cotton-bowl

That's kind of a paradox/oxymoron in its self.

Lol, now that's funny. I'd like to see that, but not at the expense of a Clemson loss. Hey, it could go either way.

    1. Not so much pulling for Clemson as I am against Alabama.
    2. Gun to my head I'd say Bama by 14-21 points or so but Clemson is good so who knows. I won't be surprised either way.
    3. Will be a decent game, fairly close till the 4th quarter is my guess

  • Used to work with Coach Stallings....  Never liked Bama after he left. Definitely don't like Nick Satan.

Not it too much of a Clemson fan either. Grew up a UGA fan, so orange is a no-no for me.

    Tough choice.

    Close Game till the end.

    Clemson by 10

Alabama hasn't been able to defend against the spread/hurry up offense  in years. So much so that Saban says it should be illegal.

Chad Kelly (Ole Miss QB) may would be second string if he were still at Clemson.

    Go Tigers!

    8 have picked Clemson.
    6 have picked the Tide.
    2 undecided.
Its actually closer in the picking than I thought it would be.

I pulled for  Clemson and Alabama during the  play offs. I want Clemson to win but my feelings won't be hurt if Alabama should get lucky. I want the title to stay below the Mason Dixon line.
  • 1. Clemson Tigers
    2. Clemson Tigers, by 4-7 points
    3. Hard fought game through 3 quarters, but #4 and #9 take control of the game in the 4th quarter and the Tigers take care of business...National Champions again!

    Go Tigers!

    1 - Clemson
    2 - Clemson
3 - down to the wire.

my youngest has been accepted at Clemson.  Not sure she'll end up there, but it is easier to support them than the tide.

I was was hoping to see Ohio State against the tide for the rematch.
