I have used a paste that was made with creole seasoning, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and Garlic. I add Italian dressing to the mix until it is the consistency of wet coffee grounds. I pat it on the entire surface of the turkey and dump the rest of the Italian Dressing in the cavity. Let sit for 24 hours, then deep fry. It comes out looking burnt, but, everyone loves it. I make these for several people that request one frequently.
If you are interested, let me know, and I will send you the step by step directions.
It is not spicy hot as most would imagine. Juicy crisp and full of flavor. You will have zero leftovers."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
