If you could only have one cooler size which would it be? I know everyone has a brand preference but is their a specific reason?

    The Yeti 50 is the perfect cooler. It's wider and deeper so it's just a better design overall for me.

    Whatever has wheels. Lugging a cooler onto the beach sucks without them. I guess a pelican 45 w/ wheels then.

    I like the Yeti Hopper but don't like the price tag! I e been seeing Yeti coolers pretty much everywhere when we are out shopping but if they are all the same design I will buy the cheapest.

    I'm impressed with the Polar Bear Coolers ... bought one of the 24 pack sizes for drinks in the Jeep.  Side-by-side with the Yeti, I'd take the Polar Bear again.

    Being a RTIC spokesman, it's hard for me to say this, but right now the cooler I use the most on a daily basis is the Yeti 50. The extra depth is just really useful for my needs. If you ever try one with the extra depth (no matter the brand) you will be sold. Toward the end of next year, RTIC will start releasing their extra depth versions and I will swap to one of theirs. But right now the Yeti 50 is by far my most used cooler. The 50 is small enough to easily handle and move around by yourself but large enough to handle most daily needs. Kind of a win win in my book. 

    Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

    RTIC is coming out with a wheel kit for their existing coolers. Also there is talks of wheeled models down the road.

    At our age, sadly not very many.  But there are younger folks on the forum who will go a couple days.  More importantly, for us tent inhabitants, we don't have to fear our food.  Curing is amazing.  Also a process.  Thanks to you for all your help.  I'll give you follow up on the 26# experiment in late January.
