    Scottie, I don't know how a 89 year old man like you does it. I'm a few years younger and I don't think I could keep that schedule. I hope when you get some time off our schedules mesh and we'll actually get to meet up.

    It gets tough at times for sure. But the upshot is when I'm off, I'm off. I'm hoping to have all of December and January off. I couldn't do it 12 months out of the year anymore. Whatever it takes my friend, we will certainly bump into each other sooner or later.

    The truth is, in general I am a pretty happy  person. No matter what life throws at me, I try to just smile and take it in stride. Life is just to short to be bitter and angry. My grand paw always told me " if you let the little $hit bother you, then the big $hit will kill you". I try to heed his advice. And thank you brother, I hope I finish up soon too. I'm ready for a long and over due break.
