    I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in the '80's.  At that time we were the Hurons.  They are a great, proud Indian tribe native to Michigan.  The logo was not offensive.


    In the '90's, EMU was bitten by the political correctness bug.  Without any complaints from anybody to motivate the school, they changed the mascot to the non-offensive Eagles.



    I lost all respect for them.  I have not set foot back there and their alumni requests for donations get pitched.  Bastids!

    Within context of the response I made, it is TOTAL speculation. Viewing it as a father with a daughter, I tend to relate what I know about my child. Admitting, right now, that is not the smart thing to do in these situations. I have to tell you though, anybody that assaults my children, would be eating their BGE meals from a straw.

    Family dust ups happen, even ones that result in a broomstick getting broken over one's head.  We had one on the 4th that started when a pair of pliers were tossed into the lake....and I wouldn't want it any other way.  You just have to know your boundaries within.  All was good after separation and deescalation.  

    Living in the land of equality.....if you're gonna act like a dude, then you better be prepared to defend yourself like one.  

    Back in my crazy days, had a girl rush at me after her brother I was fighting was knocked out in a pool of blood on the pavement.  She tried to punch me in the junk and missed.  Grabbed her by the hair and tossed her, couldn't swing.

    Stuff happens.

    If you were smart enough to choose to be a fan of the greatest team in the history of ever, you must also be smart enough to know these arguments aren't won or lost.  You will not convert someone to like your team.

    Volunteers...i think we're gonna turn things around with Butch. 
    Peyton Manning... I live in middle Tennessee but loathe the Titans. No class whatsoever. 

    You can't take anything away from Bama. I hate them but they have a helluva program. 
    OSU is the champ. Can't take anything away from them this year. 

    I just wanna see a good game. Too many upper tier schools playing division 12 teams.

    Depends on who you ask.  People who know how to count say the Bamers only have 10 (which is 2 more than tOSU).  Of course you live in bama so your countin' skillz are awesome sauce and think they have 15.  ROLL DAMN TIDE!
