Beercan burgers

Every year has something that goes viral. This year it might be beer can burgers. I have only had three cooks on my new Mini Max. They are huge though. Next time I might try a tall Michelobe Light can as they won't be so big. I can see with a variety of fillings these could be great, no reason why you could not make them in advance and freeze them. So far the Mini Max is winning me over. I had to try the woo combo out as well as it just came today.

  • Glad to see that the post office released your goodies. Those burgers look great. What did you stuff them with? And what temp did you cook them at?

  • I chopped some garlic fine, added a orange pepper, some zuccini, mushrooms and some green onion. Topped it with some tex mex cheese. One was definetly enough. The woo worked fine I kept the temp about 375 F for a hour or so. The temp edged up to 400 F right at the end. I pulled them at 165 internal temp. One of my buddies showed up just as I was putting them on and drank my beer until they were done. He said there was no way he was leaving until he tried one.

Your pics bring me back to a thread I started the other day.  Your "stuffing" look to be raw as in not sautéed prior to stuffing the burgers.  Seems like this method would save some time.

I made some "diet Coke can Burgers" a couple weeks ago....I'm in love !!!

I amde two types. I sauted onions, peppers, garlic, and some seasonings then added cheese later.   I also tried Jalapenos, cream cheese, and sausage stuffing left over from some ABT's....awesome !!!

Yours look awesome, I can taste them now !!!!
