My incredibly boring and mediocre non-egg cook
Reverse seared turkey thighs on the Vault. Severed with green beans and scalloped potatoes. Apple for smoke!

Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

I'm pretty sure I've seen these pics on Raichlen's site, but I think he grilled the turkey in a wheelbarrow with a pile of leaves.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Lol. The first time I ever heard of him was when @Griffin posted about him stealing his pics. Is his site any good?Legume said:I'm pretty sure I've seen these pics on Raichlen's site, but I think he grilled the turkey in a wheelbarrow with a pile of leaves.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -
I don't really know, I've only checked it out once or twice. He had an article about cooking steaks on shovels - standing around a fire with a bunch of new shovels and how that was South American or something. Seemed contrived to me.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

So, did you use the same knife to sever the thighs and the green beans?
-
No. Boning knife to trim the thighs and the green beans were pre-trimmed from Costco.Rickl said:So, did you use the same knife to sever the thighs and the green beans?Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -
The only thing I see wrong with it, is that you smeared the sauce on the plate..I'm a fan of a separate sauce bucket...;-)
