I just saw your thread, but knew it was rendang as soon as I saw the first pic. You've been sporting a chub for rendang for as long as I can remember.Looks stellar! There's a Malaysian place here that makes pretty good beef rendang, but I think they tone it down a bit for the gringos. Thanks for the recipe. I definitely want to try it some time.
