4 Days to Salado Eggfest Reminder

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls of all ages, Welcome to the Greatest Show on Earth...

That's what all Eggfest Banners should say over the entrance to where all the magic takes place.

Sights and sounds and smells abound, each adding to the EGGcitement that you have been patiently waiting for through the long winter.

The anticipation is high and your taste buds quickly moisten as you move about the smoking Big Green Eggs, all filled to the brim with temptations that delight the eye and tease the tongue. You can't wait, but wait you do until the Cook sets the wonderful morsels of culinary wonder before you.

In that wondrous second, Joy takes over and you become one with happiness and fulfillment. It is beautiful. It is edible magic. And at this precise moment it is yours to enjoy.

And this happens again and again and again throughout the day until your brain reluctantly says, "No more..."

Yet you keep going. You can't stop.

Then suddenly, it's all over. You are pleasantly full and pleased that you came to enjoy the show. But then a number is called. And you automatically reach for your pocket, eagerly searching for the prize ticket. Please... Please... let my number be the one.

And then it's all over until next year.
