I'm with ya, hap. Who needs bread and milk? Stock up on meat and liquor, and fill the bathtubs with water. Done! Ive got 500+lbs of lump in the garage to see me through any natural calamities.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

When I was deployed to Iceland (several times) they had plows that were called Snow King. Monster plows that cleared the runways and flightline. They ran in excess of 60mph at times. Our warning was if you hear them coming get the eff outta the way because they can't nor will they stop. I may have old video somewhere. They did this in San Diego when I lived there, it was 'StormWatch 2000 with Doppler 9000' and they would have live reports of rain falling and a small river starting to swell. Other popular topics for live on-location reports were places that sold wood because it's going to get cold, and storm drains that had clogged with leaves and sticks and were now creating 3-4" of water on part of the road.

And here I thought the South was bad about closing everything down for snow.
